2021 U.S. WOMEN’S OPEN CHAMPION YUKA SASO JOINS DEWIZ AS GLOBAL AMBASSADOR

March 30, 2021: deWiz™ has expanded its roster of global ambassadors with the addition of Yuka Saso, one of golf’s hottest young superstars on the LPGA Tour. Debuting last summer, deWiz is a cutting-edge, new wearable technology that combines high-precision data with exact measurements of golfers’ swing and real-time biometric feedback to increase their pace of learning via neuroscience.

As deWiz’s latest global ambassador, Saso is using deWiz as a competitive edge, alongside fellow major champions Bryson DeChambeau, Vijay Singh, Annika Sörenstam, and Henrik Stenson, as well as respected teaching professionals like Martin Hall.

Yuka Saso, 2021 U.S. Women’s Open Champion, Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking 10: “I was introduced to deWiz earlier this year as a tool for analyzing various swing metrics. I was immediately impressed by the product and quickly saw positive changes in my game. For example, as I’ve continued to work on my distance control, deWiz has been incredibly helpful in precisely measuring my length of backswing. It really makes a difference.”

Yuka Saso, LPGA Tour Pro and deWiz Brand Ambassador

Markus Westerberg, cofounder of deWiz Golf, PGA of Sweden teaching professional: “We have been analyzing Yuka’s swing metrics as the LPGA Tour season geared up this year and it has been fascinating to observe how she has been able to dial in her backswing consistency, especially with her wedges. deWiz precisely measures with ease key swing metrics like length of backswing, tempo, and transition, which any golfer from an elite pro like Yuka to an avid golfer serious about improving their game can specifically practice towards. deWiz is a competitive edge, because as golfers and coaches know – feel is not real.”

Annika Sörenstam, World Golf Hall of Famer, deWiz global ambassador and board member: “It has been a pleasure to track Yuka’s career from the leaderboard of the

Annika Invitational in Australasia in 2018 to her U.S. Women’s Open win last summer. And now to have her as a fellow deWiz global ambassador is an exciting new chapter, as we both believe in the innovation this technology provides to better understanding our golf swings.”

Yuka Saso burst onto the global stage with her 2021 U.S. Women’s Open win at the Olympic Club in San Francisco, as well as another five top-10 finishes on the LPGA Tour last season. As the first male or female major champion from the Philippines, Saso also represented her home country at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with a T-9 finish. Moving forward, Saso is now competing under her Japanese citizenship.

DEVELOPED BY EXPERTS, TESTED BY PROS

Under development for more than five years, deWiz tracks the exact position of a golfer’s hands throughout the swing, providing a 3D analysis and delivering data via a user-friendly app that helps any serious golfer or world-class player more consistently hit the ball longer, straighter, closer and learn faster with deWiz’s patented Learning Stimuli™. The deWiz Global Ambassadors roster currently includes Bryson DeChambeau, U.S. Open champion from 2020; Annika Sorenstam, 10-time major-champion; Vijay Singh, 3-time major-champion; 2016 Open-champion Henrik Stenson; 2021 U.S. Women’s Open champion Yuka Saso; 2019 Houston Open-champion Lanto Griffin; 2-time world champion in long drive, Tim Burke, and former PGA of America National Teacher of the Year Martin Hall. BUZZWORTHY TECH

Debuting last summer, deWiz’s introduction has already created a “buzz” with it being described by Forbes as looking to bring a “jolt to the golf training aid market;” profiled in Sweden’s leading financial media, Dagens Industri; featured within On the Mark Podcast with Mark Immelman; and showcased by Global Golf Post, Golf Monthly, and Business Insider. Additionally, Golf.com profiled both Vijay Singh’s uses deWiz to lengthen his backswing and how Annika Sörenstam’s uses deWiz to monitor her tempo.
