Women’s Golf Day Founder Named in 100 Successful Women Awards

Women’s Golf Day founder Elisa Gaudet has been named one of the global 100 successful women in business this weekend at a prestigious awards ceremony in London. 

Women from around the globe gathered at the 100 Successful Women in Business Annual Global Convention to recognize successful women ranging from corporate elite to full-time entrepreneurs. The annual awards celebrate women from many sectors and countries who are making a positive impact in their communities and the world.

“I’m truly honored and humbled to receive this award from 100 Successful Women In Business Network for what we have created with Women’s Golf Day,” said Elisa upon receiving her award. “To meet so many amazing women from across the globe and be able to tell them about events we have in their country really brought our achievements into focus. I am so very proud of the many locations, golf courses, WGD Ambassadors, Sponsors, Partners, WGD team and women who participate. We have created a global network and community that transcends golf.” 

100 Successful Women Award for Women’s Golf Day

The award follows the most successful Women’s Golf Day to date. The 2022 edition of the annual global event saw the famous red and white of WGD at venues ranging from 2023 Ryder Cup course Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Italy, to The Fajara Club, which became the first course in Gambia to join the WGD community. Across social media the hashtag #womensgolfday reached and incredible 79.1 million unique users, generating 94 million impressions, and overall, the event saw an impressive 501% increase in engagement across social channels. For 2023, WGD Palooza is scheduled for May 30, 2023 and Women’s Golf Day events will be taking place worldwide on June 6, 2023
